5 types of people prone to sui cide.

The characteristics of a suicide are identified by their personality, attitudes and emotional state, although there are times when they are not easy to distinguish.

The psychic aspects are present in 9 of 10 cases of suicide; Among them are depression, anxiety disorders and addictions.

Information from the World Health Organization indicates that around 1,110 people commit suicide in the world every day, and hundreds of thousands more are attempting it.

Here are five types of people who are more likely to commit suicide:

1. Smokers
Researchers at the University of Washington School of Medicine found that an increase in cigarette taxes coincided with a drop in suicide rates.

Using data from the National Center for Health Statistics in the United States, the research team found that a one-dollar increase in tobacco taxes reduces the risk of suicide by 10%.

2. Teenagers with concussion
Suffering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI) damages the neurological health of a growing teenager, also causing a weakened psychological and emotional state.

A study carried out at St. Michael’s Hospital in Ontario, Canada, revealed that teenagers who suffered a concussion were three times more likely to attempt suicide.

3. Musicians
Steve Sack, director of the Suicide Research Center and a professor at Wayne State University, explains that suicide rates among musicians are three times higher compared to non-entertainers. And over the history of suicide, many entertainers has been reported to have taken their lives.

4. Adults with Asperger’s Syndrome
A study conducted by the University of Cambridge’s Autism Research Center revealed that people with Asperger’s are nine times more likely to have suicidal thoughts and many even attempt suicide at some point in their lives.

5. Adopted children
Teenagers who are adopted may be more likely to commit suicide than those raised by birth parents, a new study suggests in Minnesota.
The researchers concluded that adopted people are four times more likely to attempt suicide.

The characteristics of a suicide are very revealing, but as you can see, the environment is also very influential in making a decision like this.
